The Olympus Pen has become the holy grail of blogging cameras, it’s impossible to go to an event and not see 10 of them hanging from necks by Vogue leather straps. The Pen is lightweight and versatile but the kit lens is extremely limiting. With the right lens (and understanding of manual settings) you can produce imagery that is easily as high quality as that of a much more expensive camera.

Most bloggers are constantly looking to up their photography game, whether to accompany a sassy new post or for the ‘gram. Whilst fundamentally a lot of it comes down to how well you can actually take a photo in the first place, editing can not only help to create a sense of cohesion and branding but also hide a multitude of sins (e.g. mega creased bed sheets, toast crumbs and yellow lighting).

Seasonal Affective Disorder – shortened to SAD (what wanker came up with that?) – is essentially a form of depression, often accompanied by anxiety, that is triggered by the Autumn and Winter months. The changing of seasons affects us all in some shape or form, even if it’s just that bit harder to climb out of bed in the morning knowing that you’re probably going to have to defrost your car, however for SAD sufferers the effects can be severe and debilitating.
