14 Things I’m Loving this Summer

14 Things I’m Loving this Summer

I tend to find that during the Summer months I strip back a little on consumerism, buying things for the sake of it (because it’s cold and shops are warm…) and focus on taking things back to basics. Simultaneously, new products – namely those with an SPF or the ability to make me feel less like a lizard when basking in the sunshine – worm their way into my daily routine.

Celebrating My Sister’s 18th Birthday at the Greenway Hotel & Spa

Celebrating My Sister’s 18th Birthday at the Greenway Hotel & Spa

Nestled amongst fields and hills in perhaps one of the most quaintest corners of the country, the sixteenth century Elizabethan manor house – complete with ivy-clad Cotswold stone, a large inglenook fireplace and a ticking grandfather clock – hits that sweet spot between hotel luxury and home-from-home charm.

Why I Decided to Come off of the Pill

It dawned on me that whilst my life has changed drastically since I was 16, the one constant was that little sugary pill I popped each morning.

You Don’t Have to be a Morning Person to be Successful (and what I thought of Simba Mattresses!)

You Don’t Have to be a Morning Person to be Successful (and what I thought of Simba Mattresses!)

I have tried very hard to force myself into an early morning routine, but try as I might the result is far more stumbling around bleary eyed in desperate need of intravenous espresso than it is enjoying a morning green juice on the decking before practising bloody sun salutations and setting positive affirmations for the gift of a day ahead.

Knowing When It’s Time to Hit the Unfollow Button

Something that I have always been a big advocate of – whether you’re an Instagrammer by career, by hobby or by ‘haven’t even bothered to upload a profile pic yet’ – is making use of that big blue unfollow button the moment someone isn’t floating your boat.

It’s About Time We Stopped Using ‘Bossy’ as an Insult

I think the use of ‘bossy’ as an insult probably falls in the same Camp Bullshit as the ‘she loves herself’ and the ‘she needs bringing down a peg or two’ descriptions. A Little Life Update

A Little Life Update

Being a full-time blogger was not something I ever set out to be and when I first started writing it wasn’t even really with the intention of it being read. I feel so privileged to be able to wake up every morning and make a living from something that I actually have a real passion for, which just about masks the ‘oh holy fuck I am actually a real life adult now’ butterflies.

Why Are We in Such a Hurry to Rush Through Life’s Milestones?

Why Are We in Such a Hurry to Rush Through Life’s Milestones?

I’ve recently come to a realisation, and it’s pretty profound. Your life is moving at the exact speed it’s supposed to. I don’t know if I believe in fate as such, but I do think that everything happens for a reason and steps of my life that I’d have happily hit fast-forward through are integral to the person I am today, and to where I’ll be in the future too.
