Bloom & Wild flowers arrive in a rectangular box which fits through any standard letterbox. I’ve been raving about the service since they first launched in 2013 and I’m usually always asked about the quality and shape of flowers that have been kept in a relatively flat box. Just as within any florists, Bloom & Wild handpick and freshly cut your blooms, they then carefully wrap them and lay them flat in their custom designed cardboard packaging. They arrive with flower food and easy instructions to follow for arranging them in your favourite vase; I’ve both received and sent several deliveries and have never had so much as a broken stem or a damaged petal.
I was sent the Felicity bouquet; a pretty pastel combination of soft lilac roses, pink blossom chrysanthemums, white alstroemerias, white waxflower and – my favourite – eucalyptus branches. The delicate pink hues and the fragrant eucalyptus creates a sense of calm and freshness; perfect for perking up a dull winter’s day. The roses and chrysanthemums are delicately encased in soft meshing and are quick to bloom when released. This bunch is perfect to have by your bedside or in your space of tranquility because they emit a gorgeous, soothing aura; ideal for a bit of TLC. Every time I pass them I’m reminded that Spring isn’t too far around the corner!
In terms of value, Bloom & Wild are top of their game. Flowers can often be exorbitant which is sometimes off putting for something that you know, however lovely, will soon perish. Bloom & Wild bunches start at just £20 and don’t range much beyond £40 for their LUX bunches; furthermore they have a fantastic subscription service starting at just £50 for 3 months worth; I can’t think of a more lovely gift for the person who has everything! It’s hardly a surprise that Bloom & Wild are rated as the UK’s top flower delivery service, and if you ever were to encounter a problem you can rest assured that their customer service team are as lovely as their blooms.
Forever keeping up with the trends, Bloom & Wild offer lovely seasonal products – you may have seen their Mini Trees at Christmas (yes, an actual baby Christmas tree through your letterbox!) – and have recently launched a succulent box! Featured in Vogue, the delivery includes three lovely little succulents on a sturdy and stylish tray, so even the most notorious of flower killers can enjoy some botanical goodness.
Order at literally the touch of a button using their sleek IOS and Android apps, and if you live within the Capital then they can deliver blooms on a motorbike for free within two hours to most postcodes – perfect if you accidentally forget someone’s birthday!
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, and Mother’s Day soon approaching too, get yourselves over to the Bloom & Wild website and treat someone you love; guaranteed brownie points! You can even add on sweet little treats such as chocolates or a candle.
